I have thrown and own alot of Motiv balls, and this is by far the best piece in my arsenal.Ģ020 Lansing City Open All Events I started game 1 with the original Forge and shot 180, not liking what I was seeing I switched to my Recoil and finished doubles with a 659, singles went 714, and team event went 688 using the Recoil for all 8 remaining games on a very challenging pattern. The Villain offers incredible performance, versatility, and value. This asymmetric pearl turns heads and turns sideways on the back of the lane Engineered for medium-heavy oil.
Motiv villain scorn series#
This from a guy who usually only throws a couple 700 series a season, and we are only 3 weeks in, I felt compelled to write a review. The new Villain Scorn is just plain vicious.

The last 2 weeks of league I felt like I had so much room with this ball throwing a 722, and a 710. Hope you like it, and if you have any questions, suggestions or criticism, please let me know. No, I'm not a Motiv Staffer (in case you're wondering). The new Villain Scorn is just plain vicious. It allows me to progress left as the lanes break down and still comes around the corner. Hello all, I just posted a new bowling ball review video for the soon-to-be-released Motiv Villain Scorn. It has a great surface the gives me a little wiggle room so my slight misses still have a chance. The new Villain Scorn is just plain vicious. I am not the most consistent or best bowler, but the Recoil has definitely made me look better than I am. I would consider this ball as my benchmark piece that is always first ball out of the bag on league night and when I am unsure of the pattern. I have resurfaced this ball on a spinner several times to factory spec, and tweeked the surface for some tournaments with great success doing so. I absolutely love rolling this ball! It has a great skid, hook, roll and continues threw the pins aggressively and is great at clearing out the corners. How many MOTIV Bowling fan do we have, if so check out Brett throwing the new Villain Scorn.

City Tournament handicap A/E winning ball ( using 216 average)įirst off, this is season 3 using the same Venom Recoil. We sat down with Brett Spangler, an integral part of our ball development team, to discuss the new Villain Scorn.
